"Bob's black and white capture (Louis Armstrong photo as example) is extraordinarily good.
Although they aptured photographs quite differently, Bob's 'ABOVE BOOKS' color originals
evoke strong human emotion and
technically speaking they're superior to Ansel Adams."

Robert Cameron and Tim Hall

Many acclaimed photographers are in agreement that Tim Hall is a very talented artist, craftsman and master printer. Personally I believe there's no one (alive today) that's a better photo printer then Tim Hall. Through light balancing, color correction and quality printing, Tim (day in and day out) turns good originals into great photographic prints. Tim having worked on many fine originals including Ansel Adams, Annie Leibovitz, Frank Wing has the technical and artistic skill tp print 'perfect' photographs.

Mr. Cameron (world famous aerial photographer and very successful publisher of 'ABOVE BOOKS') had a great eye for capturing the photograph. Mr. Cameron and Tim lived and worked just a few miles from each other. It took until 2006 for the two to actually meet. They immediately began working together with Tim producing all of the photographs and video for Mr. Cameron's Presidio Environmental Journey. Metallic Photo Portfolios, the current Environmental Journey and the future signed (by Mr. Cameron) Above Exhibition.

In the last few years Mr. Cameron was blind in one eye and had limited vision in the other. Fortunately, Tim was
able to be Mr. Cameron's eyes and hands in the darkroom and has been able to turn Mr. Cameron's great captures into substantially better photographs. The two working together have made Mr. Cameron's photographs quite spectacular.

Mr. Cameron was a good friend, golfing buddy and also a competitor of Ansel Adams. Knowing this and having worked on both of these Pro Photographer's originals, Tim's top of page statement of comparison of these two greats should be given careful consideration. The amusing thing is often when Mr. Cameron was complimented on his photo artistic skill he was quick to respond that he was not a good photographer. With a twinkle in his eye he would say that he knew he was not a good photographer because his friend Ansel regularly told him so.
