In Mr. Cameron's own words: "The kind of photography that I chose many, many years ago – aerial photography – demonstrates in a way that no other form of photography can what we are doing to the Earth, the oceans and the atmosphere. What I do in my work is to see the beautiful aspects of our environment, and also the good and bad things we are doing to it. That’s what this “environmental journey” is all about. I’ve selected 55 of my best images from the Above books I’ve done on California, Nevada, Washington, Alaska and Hawaii since 1969 for this visual journey."

"I have enjoyed all the aerial pictures that were taken and it had a profound effect on me.
Thank you for sharing with us this magnificent work."
